Forget putting Hands on a Hard Body, we put thumbs on a… rectangular phone? The Thumbwar was a first of its kind partnership with the millennial version of QVC known as Down To Shop. All shoppers had to do to win a car for a year was keep their thumbs on their phones.
It was a set up to set the world on fire until we had to pull the plug at the last minute. The 12-hour live mobile stream was going to feature a full slate of wacky entertainment as viewers followed the dot with their opposable digit in the cellular version of riding a bucking bronco. Maybe next time…
