BUDWEISER OPENING DAY

 

If you love baseball, you skip work for opening day. And since nothing is more American than baseball, Budweiser campaigned the White House to make it an official holiday. Ozzie Smith pitched the idea and we created the campaign hub, posters, and display ads. 

The petition got more than 100,000 signatures, which earned an official response from the Deputy Press Secretary. It was 2014, so he reminded us the Red Sox are World Champs, Obama is a White Sox fan, and even his lowly Royals still had a chance to be champs. Unfortunately, The Royals lost that year – in the World Series.
